As a child, Garfield discovered the world of fashion from this Mother. She worked in interior design and hand-crafted fabrics for furniture, so he saw firsthand the details that went into tailoring. Once he moved to New York he discovered Fashion shows and it piqued his interest once again in style, particularly in high-end fashion. After he graduated with a degree in Engineering and working in home design, he returned once again to the fashion industry by working behind the scenes as a videographer and producer. Throughout that endeavor, he was around many style coaches and professional tailors learning their techniques.
